Cancelled due to Coronavirus (COVID-19)
At the Clifton Suspension Bridge Trust, the health and wellbeing of our visitors, volunteers and staff are our number one concern. We have been closely following the guidance of the Government, NHS and Public Health England and as doctors and scientists are now recommending that everyone avoids large social gatherings we have decided we have to close our Visitor Centre and cancel all tours until mid April in order to play our part in stopping the spread of the virus.
As a not-for-profit charity, it's hard for us to close. We want to do everything we can to support STEM Learning as we all deal with something that's never happened before. We are very sorry that we have to close our doors. We ask you for your support and patience as we navigate our way through these unprecedented times and consider different options.
The RSPB is the country’s largest conservation charity, inspiring everyone to give nature a home. Sixty per cent of UK species have declined in recent decades due to the lack of suitable habitats. By working together, we aim to keep birds and wildlife like the once common hedgehog from further decline, so that we and future generations can see them thrive again. Find the RSPB stall on the Leigh Woods side of the bridge where you can find out how to make your garden wildlife friendly, play a game of Bird Bingo or pick up a colouring sheet. (There is also the opportunity to become actively involved by joining the RSPB as a member with a regular donation, should you wish to.)
