John Sparks was one of the longest serving producers at the BBC Natural History Unit (NHU) and spent 35 years with the Corporation, running the NHU for several years. John has a lifelong interest in natural history and birds in particular, and studied bird behaviour professionally at the London Zoo before joining the BBC.

John still enjoys communicating his interests to others and organising talks, illustrated with his own photos, for local people in the South West.

John's talk at the Visitor Centre will relate some of his first experiences filming wildlife in Africa using some of his original archive materials, as well as more recent visits to Africa.

Book places in advance via Eventbrite.
