Justin Quinnell's photography - and the Clifton Suspension Bridge ! - features on "The One Show" BBC1 Friday 24 April at 7.00pm.
A series of arcs show the subtle changes in the daily course of the sun through the sky caused by the Earth's orbit. This remarkable image was captured on a single sheet of photographic paper using a basic pinhole camera made from a drinks can with a 0.25mm aperture. The camera was strapped to a telegraph pole overlooking the Clifton Suspension Bridge between December 2007 and June 2008.
The photograph and the story behind it appeared in the Daily Telegraph on Saturday 22 November and previously in the Bristol Evening Post.
The Bridge is also listed as one of the 50 Most Inspiring Buildings in Britain by the Daily Telegraph, 22 November (Review section).
