As part of their 150th anniversary celebrations, Clifton Suspension Bridge Visitor Centre is appealing to local businesses and organisations featuring the bridge in their logo to donate objects for a new display entitled ‘The Bridge as an Icon’.

Visitor Services Manager Laura Hilton said “we already have a small collection of items going back to the 1970s which feature the bridge but we’d like to add some modern artefacts and celebrate Bristol’s relationship to the bridge today. We’re collecting everything from headed paper and mousemats to school badges and branded t-shirts.”

Organisations wishing to be a part of the display, due to open in December 2014, can send small items to Laura Hilton, Visitor Services Manager at Clifton Suspension Bridge Visitor Centre, Bridge Road, Leigh Woods, Bristol, BS8 3PA or email visitinfo@cliftonbridge.org.uk.
