An evening of community carol singing and festive illuminations
The Mall Gardens, Bristol, BS8 4BG – November 7th 2018 – 6.00pm

BID Clifton Village welcomes Bristol and beyond to attend the annual Switch On of the iconic Christmas lights and Christmas tree. Year on year, increasing numbers of visitors journey to the village to join in the community carol singing lead by the Vicar of Clifton and anticipate
the count down for the illumination.

BBC Radio Bristol breakfast host Emma Britton is helping to switch the lights on and it is with great pleasure to announce that the Clifton Village Christmas Lights Switch On 2018 is in support of BBC Radio Bristol Alive Appeal. Alive provides meaningful engagement for vulnerable older people and inspirational training for those who support them throughout the UK.

On the evening of the Switch On, the businesses of Clifton Village warmly invite visitors to wander around the village to see all of the lights and explore the lovely shops, eateries and pubs.

BID Clifton Village is a Business Improvement District (BID) Organisation which gives local businesses the power to raise funds locally which are spent locally on improving their own trading environment.
